Two for Victory
A sweeping WWII love story about courage, sacrifice, and the words that changed a nation.
Two for Victory blends love, resilience, and the extraordinary stories of the home front and the men who fought overseas. Set against the backdrop of 1940s advertising and the work of the War Advertising Council, it follows CC Gallagher, a young New England journalist-turned-copywriter, and Joe Butler, the award-winning copywriter whose desk she inherits when he joins the Army Air Forces.
Tasked with recruiting war replacements, CC confronts both the pressures of the Shark Tank and the truth she uncovers about who is—and isn’t—hiring women during wartime. Her unexpected correspondence with Joe deepens into a bond she never anticipated. As her rising career intersects with the brutal realities Joe faces across the ocean, CC travels to London to meet him—only to discover the devastating cost of war.
